The Santa Cruz CAMFT chapter holds monthly informal training sessions (Cafe CAMFT) and half day and full day training offering continuing education units. Prelicensed Support Group
“3000-Hour Club” (Prelicensed Support Group): Free ongoing* monthly support group serving interns, trainees and students. This group is a great place to gain support during your challenging, underpaid journey from school through internship to starting your new rewarding profession as a licensed therapist. We emphasize self-care, clarifying goals, sharing experience. Our facilitator, Nate Weinstein, LMFT, supports the group as interns and students support each other with caring and community, along with key information regarding: BBS exams, internships, supervisors and anything else you can imagine coming across during this time! The group meets the 1st Friday of each month from 12:15-1:45pm at 1663 Dominican Way, Ste. 110-B, Santa Cruz. Call Call Nate at 831.392.7064 or email internsupport.

Email Notification of SC-CAMFT News and Sponsored Events
Several times a month, notices are sent by email about SC-CAMFT sponsored trainings, Café CAMFT topics, board issues, and other professional information relevant to the practice of our profession.
SC-CAMFT’s Email Policy
SC-CAMFT uses the membership email list only for official SC-CAMFT business. This includes chapter-sponsored training and training cosponsored by affiliated organizations, such as Monterey County CAMFT and the Monterey Bay Psychological Association. The email list is also used to disseminate information about Café CAMFT, workshops and conferences, the newsletter, and other direct board business.
We encourage our membership to use other existing vehicles to reach fellow members, including through purchasing local or state CAMFT mailing lists, using the our chapter listserve, and submitting articles and advertising to our chapter newsletter.

This resource guide includes local therapists, along with a listing of individual specialties, orientations, office locations, and other contact information. You must be a licensed therapist or intern and a member of this chapter to be included in the directory. When you join the chapter you are able to create your own profile to be added to the directory.
