Training Events and Other Sponsored Meetings
Café CAMFT is a cafeteria selection of psychotherapeutic topics presented in a roundtable, informal luncheon meeting, so bring your own brown bag, or purchase a ‘take-out-lunch’ at one of the delicious local restaurants. Our discussions have been candid, informative, occasionally controversial, and at times deeply personal. The atmosphere that has evolved is one of diversity, enthusiasm, inclusion and warm peer support. Café CAMFT meets the 4th Friday of every month (except November & December) from 12:00 to 1:30PM. Location: Santa Cruz Friends Meeting House, 225 Rooney St., Santa Cruz Come and share your own experiences, and learn from one another. It’s what the Café is all about.
We open each meeting with time to network, to share our current activities, groups or specialties, to pass out fliers, trade business cards, and to let each other know who we are and what we're currently focusing on. Bring your business card to participate in the drawing for a FREE lunch at Gayle's Bakery. Come and join the discussions and get to know your colleagues and fellow CAMFT members in informal discussions, and thought provoking exchanges.

Chapter sponsored trainings: Two or three times a year, at various sites around the community, SC-CAMFT's Program committee presents a half or full-day professional training for our members, allied professionals and the local community. CEUs are available. There is a refreshment-social time from 8:30 until 9 A.M. prior to each presentation. Go to Santa Cruz Chapter Training Event for more information.
Prelicensed Support Group: This is an ongoing monthly group serving students, trainees and interns.
