    Description

This interactive workshop equips Therapists with practical tools from the Positive Discipline framework—an Adlerian-based, trauma-informed approach to relationships. Grounded in principles of mutual respect, connection, and emotional regulation, belonging and contribution, Positive Discipline offers strategies that help families move towards healthier patterns of communication and cooperation. Through experiential activities, case examples, and group discussion, you will learn how to integrate these techniques into your therapeutic practice to support treatment goals and strengthen family relationships both in and between sessions.

    Educational Goals/Learning Objectives

In successfully completing and attending this workshop, participants will be able to:

    1. Understand the core principles of the Positive Discipline framework.
    2. Identify practical Positive Discipline tools and techniques that promote connection, cooperation, and emotional regulation within families.
    3. Integrate experiential and relational strategies into therapeutic practice to support treatment goals and strengthen family dynamics.
